: This bareback pad is the best! The quality is as good or better than more expensive pads. I like the choice on girth or cinch as well.

: I was on the market for a good quality and good looking Bareback Pad and I found it! They custom make it to work with English or Western Cinch and you have choice of several colors. The craftsmanship is superb, good old Made in USA product! I know my pad is going to last me a lifetime! Between the helpful customer service and quality product, I wouldn't think twice about giving MacPheroson a shot! And you shouldn't either. I highly recommend!

: Even though the tekst prescribes that variations in colours may be expected, im dissapointet to recive a red saddel when i ordered a Brown. There is a huge difference in colour variations and a complete different collour.

: I had stated a couple of issues in a previous review, and I did contact them and they were willing to work with me on these issues, which were very minor more ascetic than anything. SO I would highly recommend this pad to anyone.

: I like it, it definitly does help you stick on. But Where I tie my cinch on rubs the back of my knee really bad a leaves bruises and looking at the d rings for the breast collar they are way uneven in the distance from the handle in the middle. So I love it and hate it. I am hoping to figure out where to put my leg so it doesn't rub, I can live with the d rings but for American made I expect better attention to detail I guess. A measuring tape would do the job.

: The MacPherson tan heavy duty trainer bareback pad I bought exceeded my expectations for quality of materials and workmanship; it is worth every penny! The girth setup is strong and correct. The pad works perfectly on my super wide horses. There are lots of pads out there, but this one is by far the best I've seen in 40 years.

: Wow, the quality of this bareback pad is outstanding. I ordered it in purple, and the colour is mind blowing. As much as the price appears steap for a bareback pad, you will come to understand why once you receive it and realise its well worth it.

: Alan helped me with my purchase of the version with the English billet straps in black. He was extremely helpful and very sweet to answer all the ten thousand questions that I asked. It took me a while to write this review, because I had to figure out which English girth would fit my small, pony size horse. A Dressage girth was the perfect solution, for me. Normal sized horses would probably use a regular girth, the tack stores I went to didn't have any pony girths in stock. I've also been using a western saddle pad with the non-slip neoprene-rubber underside for trail riding and it works great, gives extra stability and more cushioning for my "south end". The extra saddle pad isn't really needed, but I use it to keep my cherished Bareback pad clean. The real suede topside of the pad, gives you have a really secure seat, along with the OOPSIE hand strap. It is by far the BEST bareback pad I have ever owned, well worth the money in my opinion. Thanks MacPherson!
