Our Dual Use Dog Collar can be used as the typical Standing Collar when buckled to the fixed "O" ring on the collar. To use the Collar as a "Slip" or Training Collar, unbuckle from the fixed "o" ring and buckle to the Free Moving (Loose) "O" ring. Once buckled to the loose "O" ring, the collar becomes a Slip Collar perfect for maintaining control and teaching your Dog to walk on leash properly.

Method One:
Our collar lengths are measured from where the leather folds over at the buckle end to the center hole (all collars have 5 holes) and the holes are spaced from 3/4" to 1" apart depending on the size of the collar. If you measure your existing collar from the hole you use to the fold of the leather at the buckle end, you'll have the right size (to the next whole number).
Method Two:
Measure your dog's neck with a cloth measuring tape. If you don't have a measuring tape, you can use a piece of string, mark the string and then you can then lay out the marked string along a ruler.
Pull the tape against your dog's neck. There should be no room between the measuring tape and the neck, don't pull too tightly, just snug. Use that number (round up to the next whole number) to select the size.

While our products are made to last a lifetime, the warranty does not cover misuse or abuse including, but not limited to, your dog using your item as a chew toy, your child deciding it would make a nice toy to play with in their bath, your horse deciding to exercise his muscles or your backup camera in your car failing causing you to drive over your item. Saddles have a 1 year warranty against defects in workmanship.
